What is CBAP training?

Its an IIBA Endorsed training program to help you prepare for the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Exam. This certification is considered to be the gold standard in Business Analysis certifications.

How long is the CBAP course?

This program is of 35-hrs duration and is completed in 6 weeks. The classes are conducted over the weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays.

The CBAP exam is not so easy. If you would want to clear it, it requires a lot of preparation and practice.

Can I do CBAP directly?

Yes, you can do it directly. You don’t need to get ECBA or CCBA Certified to appear for CBAP Exam. Though, you must meet the eligibility requirements to do so.

How long does it take to prepare for CBAP?

Ideally, you should allocate and plan for 3-4 months for the preparation. Though it will depend on your work schedule and perseverance. A consistent preparation approach will ensure your success.

Is this a Live Online training for CBAP Preparation?

Yes, our CBAP course is a Live online training program and is conducted over the weekends. We also have a Self-learning course for CBAP preparation.

	What is CBAP Certification?
	CBAP is the topmost Business analysis certification for experience business analysts. It is offered by International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Canada.
	What is the CBAP Certification validity?
	The CBAP Certified status is valid for 3 years and must be renewed to retain the certified status.
	What is the CBAP Exam Syllabus?
	The certification exam is based on the Business analysis body of knowledge (BABOK) guide v3. BABOK is divided into knowledge areas and each knowledge area has a weightage for the exam. See the detailed CBAP syllabus.
	Where can I take the CBAP Certification exam?
	CBAP exam can be taken online from Jan 2020. Now, you don't need to go to any test centres to take the examination. The exams are online proctored exam & can be taken from the home. You need to have a personal computer with Internet connectivity, a camera, & an unobstructed sitting area. Check IIBA.ORG for more details.
	Who is eligible for CBAP Certification?
	The CBAP Eligibility Criteria are as follows: You need to have a minimum of 7,500 hours of Business Analysis work experience within the past 10 years. (You can consider this in order to be approximately 5+ years of business analysis experience) Within this experience, you need to have at least 3,600 hours of the 7,500 hours of Business Analysis work experience in 4 out of the 6 Knowledge Areas defined in BABOK® Guide Version 3. Each of the 4 areas must have a minimum of 900 hours of experience You must have completed a minimum of 35 hours of Professional Development within the last 4 years You need to provide two references from a Career Manager, Client, or a Certified Business Analysis Professional You must agree to the Code of Conduct You must agree to the Terms and Conditions
	What if my CBAP application is rejected?
	If your application is rejected, you will lose the application fees of USD 125 as it is non-refundable. However, your membership status does not change. For re-filling, you need to pay USD 125 again.
	What is the passing score for CBAP?
	IIBA does not reveal the passing percentage but one thing is worth noting – its not about the passing percentage but getting a minimum score in all the six knowledge areas. So even if you have 90% in one knowledge area but very low in two others, you will be getting the certification. So the focus should be to do well in all the knowledge areas.
