Eligibility Criteria

1. Business Analysis Work Experience:

You must have a minimum of 3750 hours of business analysis work experience in the last seven years.

2. Knowledge Area Experience:

What is the validity of this certification?

• The certification is valid for three years from the date it is awarded, after which it must be renewed(with a grace period of 1 year) through a recertification process.
• Recertification Fee for IIBA members is $85 and for non-members is $120.
• To maintain the validity of your certification, you must complete a recertification application and earn a minimum of 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) within the three-year period.

Exam Syllabus

The Exam is based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) guide. The BABOK guide is structured into knowledge areas, Techniques, perspectives and competencies.

The exam is a computer-based test, and you have the option to take it either online through proctor format or in person at a PSI test center.
