As you can notice, the difference lies in the membership cost based on the region.

Region I Countries

Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greenland, Guernsey, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Norway, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Virgin Islands, US.

Region II Countries

Albania, Algeria, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Bermuda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Comoros, Congo, Costa Rica, Cote d’Ivoire, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan and more.

Region III Countries

India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Benin, Bhutan, Egypt and more.

Let’s consider a couple of examples to calculate the total cost for CBAP certification from three different regions.

Example for Region I

First example is for aspirants from Region I i.e. United States of America:

By becoming a member of IIBA in Region III, you will be able to save USD 84 from Region I and USD 34 from Region II.
